This 7-point was taken at last light, after I had just missed a 6-pont that ducked my arrow.  This 7 showed - I made a quartering-away shot on him- He ran about 35 yards and dropped.  As you can tell, I was very proud of my first bow kill!!

This buck was taken at 100 yards through a thicket with only his head showing.  I literally drove past him as he stood there and watched... I thought about it and turned back, and he was STILL standing right there watching.  I could not believe it.  I got out of the truck, approached to 100 yards and knowing this was the last day I could hunt this season, I let him know I saw him and wanted him - and now, I have him - LOL.  I am so proud of my beautiful first 8!!!...
